History Form

The Diagnostic Pathology Laboratory of the NOIVBD is an independent laboratory for birds, exotic animals, zoo animals
and wildlife, and accepts only material through veterinarians, zoos and institutions. The NOIVBD is specialised in
(histo) pathology and microbiological tests of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates.

The NOIVBD will perform your post mortem examinations (PME), cytopathologie, parasitology, histopathology,
immunohistochemistry and microbiology, and gives you an advice together with the results.

Quick results

We will send you a first report of the preliminary results of the PME and cytology within 24 hours after arrival in
the laboratory including the findings and a preliminary conclusion (with advise) by fax or email. When we suspect a
zoonotic of contagious problem we will contact you immediately!
A first report of the results of the biopsies and histopathology will be send to you within 3 working days after
arrival in the laboratory (when shipped through ValuePath). The final report will be send to you on your choice by surface mail, fax or as PDF file by email.
